MAYA Internship Program
"As you fly away from the nest of BFAR, may you become stewards in promoting the Bureau's advocacies. Soar high, MAYAs!"
This was the message of encouragement of Training Division Chief and MAYA Focal Person Dr. Anna Melissa M. Talavera as the DA-Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DA-BFAR)-Caraga formally held its "Recognition Day" on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 for the first-ever batch of interns under DA's Mentoring and Attracting Youth in Agribusiness (MAYA) program.
The fifteen (15) MAYA interns coming from different backgrounds received their Certificates of Accomplishment for having completed and for rendering excellent performance in their internship period being assigned in different offices, laboratory and farm stations of DA-BFAR Caraga.
Special awards were also given to the MAYA interns: Gil Mark Morgado was commended as the Best Maya Intern (Regional Level), while Joan S. Aboga-a and Jemar Odtojan secured their spot in the Top 30 Best MAYA Photo Journey.
