During his stint, RFD Rolan Samontina was able to maximize his time and immersed himself to various fisheries projects and activities, and personally experienced the operation and project implementation of DA-BFAR in Caraga region.

 

In his message, RFD Samontina expressed his gratitude to the Regional Bureau for the support extended as this year's Mangingisdang Direktor.

 

Training Division Chief Dr. Anna Melissa M. Talavera, likewise, thanked RFD Samontina for acknowledging the Regional Bureau's efforts and for understanding the government's processes and policy guidelines on the implementation of programs and projects.

 

Regional Director Dr. Nilo Selim Katada urged the DA-BFAR Caraga personnel to level up its efforts on the cooperative development and on the strengthening of the Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Management Councils (FARMCs), and reminded everyone to strive harder in its primary goal of alleviating the living conditions of the fishing communities in Caraga.
