To assess the academic performance of DA-BFAR Caraga scholars and to present the updated guidelines on the policies and protocols of the Fisheries Scholarship Program, the Regional Fisheries Scholarship Program Coordination Office hosted on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 the Semestral Meeting for the FSP Monitoring and Evaluation held at North Eastern Mindanao State University - Lianga Campus.
NEMSU Lianga Campus Director Dr. Cynthia P. Sajot encouraged the FSP scholars to take inspiration from the previous BFAR scholar-graduates who pursued noble career paths in sectoral development and in government service.
Regional Director Dr. Nilo Selim Katada also graced the said activity and urged the FSP scholars to always choose the right track and never to be swayed by false ideologists, highlighting the government's whole-of-nation approach against left-leaning groups.
The meeting also served as a venue for FSP scholars to share and tackle the problems and challenges they encountered under the ‘new normal’ learning modality.
After the open forum, Regional FSP Coordinator Dr. Anna Melissa M. Talavera advised the FSP scholars to hold on against peer and social media pressures, and to strive harder in their studies to achieve their goals.
