The Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Caraga Region turned a new page in the office’s history as it welcomes the appointment of Chief Fishing Regulations Officer Omnia B. Olama as the newly appointed Regional Director of DA-BFAR Caraga.

RD Omnia B. Olama officially sworn in as the eighth RD of DA-BFAR Caraga in a ceremony with the Presiding Officer DA Senior Undersecretary Domingo F. Panganiban on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at the Department of Agriculture-Central Office.

Prior to her appointment as Director II, RD Olama served as the Chief of the Fisheries Management Regulatory and Enforcement Division and the Head of the Legal Unit of DA-BFAR Caraga.
